Newspaper association lays out case in Postal Service lawsuit The Newspaper Association of America filed its initial brief Monday in a lawsuit seeking to overturn what the group calls a "sweetheart deal" between the U.S. Postal Service and a distributor of direct mail. The negotiated service agreement, or NSA, reached last year with Valassis Direct Mail gives the distributor discounted postal rates.
